LSU Textile & Costume Museum

The LSU Textile & Costume Museum provides changing gallery exhibitions supported by large diverse collections with a particular focus on Louisiana material culture.  It is active in education, research, artifact conservation, and public service.  This facility provides students with opportunities for technical, aesthetic, historic, and social cultural studies.

The LSU Textile & Costume Museum will be under renovation starting December 2018 and is expected to be completed by Summer 2019. This exciting project will expand the museum's display space and have its own entrance to the public, separate from the main Human Ecology building entrance.
