Presidential Award for Discovery
The Presidential Award for Discovery is given by the Office of Research & Economic Development to individual faculty in recognition of outstanding singular achievements in research, scholarship or creative activity that have received the highest professional recognition from their peers. The award will be considered on an annual basis, but only be given when such an achievement is deemed to reach this highest level of recognition.
Nominations for this award will be accepted at anytime, and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Nominators must submit a letter of recommendation to the Vice President for Research and Economic Development that outlines the faculty achievement and rationale for making the award.
