The LGBTQ+ Project works to make LSU a safer space for all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. There are various ways for you to get involved in the work we are doing on campus and in the community including mentorship with First Contact, engagement with Spectrum, Qroma, or LTA, attending Safe Space Training, or volunteering for a LGBTQ+ Project Event.

Tiger Card Name Change
Students can have their preferred name on their Tiger Cards. Fill out the appropriate form in the Tiger Card Office and your card will be re-printed free of charge. Learn More about the New Tiger Card Policy

Library Safe Spaces
The library has provided a list of individuals who are Safe Space trained that students can go to. The list will be updated periodically through the library's blog at Safe Spaces in LSU Libraries.
