Get Involved in OMA
Multicultural Student Leadership Conference (MSLC)
Be a leader in the conference that allows students and community leaders to further develop their own knowledge and skills around diversity and equity. Whether you are a notice or an expert, a first-timer or a prolific attendee, we encourage you to be a part of the Leadership Committee that makes it all happen. Gain experience with event planning, workshop development, public speaking and task delegation.
Harambee Leadership Committee
The Harambee program is an inspiring evening of celebration, student performances, and coming together as a community. Harambee was created in 1990 to showcase the talents and organizations of LSU's diverse community. It has grown each year to include the many resources LSU has to offer. Be a part of the Harambee legacy as a member of the leadership committee.
Join a group of talented undergraduate student leaders who are truly passionate about celebrating diversity. This group will meet regularly and work collaboratively with OMA student groups to plan and implement heritage month celebrations and advocate for progressive campus change. Be the voice of multicultural affairs and apply today.
OMA is offering a brand new way to get involved. You can now be apart of the team as an OMA diplomat. This program will give you hands-on student affairs experience, building upon your professional development through leadership opportunities. Students who want real experience in diversity trainings, representing OMA to prospective students, and collaborating with departments across campus should apply.
