Brenda and Gregory Hamer Sr. Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Greg and Brenda Hamer. Greg graduated with a bachelor's degree in general business from LSU in 1968. He is currently a member of the Dean's Advisory Council. He and his family reside in Morgan City, Louisiana. This scholarship is intended to provide support to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Financial need may be a consideration in the selection of recipients. Preference is given to students who are graduates of Louisiana public schools. Recipients are selected by the Dean of the College of Business.

Carlton Family Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Chris and Cater Carlton of Atlanta, Georgia. Chris graduated from LSU with a B.S. in finance in 1988. This scholarship is awarded to full-time junior or senior level students enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business having a GPA of 3.0+ and residing in Louisiana. Financial need is a consideration.

Dan B. Rinks Scholarship

This scholarship was originally named the Chow Endowed Scholarship, but in 2013, Alan Chow renamed the scholarship after Dr. Dan B. Rinks, an influential professor from Al's time at LSU who also advised him along the way when he was establishing the scholarship. After finding out that Al wished to rename the scholarship in Dan's name, he responded, "There are few things more satisfying to a faculty member than to learn that you have had a positive influence on one of your students." This scholarship is awarded to a full-time undergraduate student majoring in ISDS in the College of Business with a GPA of at least 2.5.

Dan Kyle Scholarship

Kevin and Debbie Knobloch established the Dan Kyle scholarship in honor of Kevin's mentor and friend, Dan Kyle. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time junior or senior students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, majoring in Accounting. Financial need may be a consideration.

Darlene R. Lanier Academic Excellence Award

Established in 1995, this scholarship was created to honor Darlene's many contributions to the ISDS department, the College, LSU, and business and governmental communities. The fund is used to annually recognize an outstanding graduating senior in the ISDS department. A faculty committee considers academic achievements, leadership ability, and service in the selection process.

David Harper Garland Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1981 in memory of David Harper Garland. The scholarship is awarded annually to an LSU student studying full-time in the College of Business who has shown academic ability and financial need. Other considerations include participation in activities that develop responsibility, leadership and citizenship, honors won, and offices held.

E.J. Thomas - R.P. Courtney Leadership Scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time undergraduate students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, with a junior classification, and a 3.0 GPA for all college-level work. It is the Donor's preference for the award to be given to students who are graduates of one of the following high schools: Holy Savior Menard Catholic High School, Baton Rouge Magnet High School, Redemptorist High School, Catholic High School, or St. Joseph's Academy. It is also the Donor's preference that the recipients have participated in collegiate activities that would develop their leadership, responsibility, and citizenship.

Flo Bigby Price Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is intended for full-time sophomore, junior, or senior level students enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, with first preference given to students majoring in Finance and second preference given to students majoring in general business. It is the donor's preference that recipients be graduates of a Bossier Parish school.

Georgia Pacific/Clint Kennedy Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2001. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 for all college work. Financial need may be a consideration. Preference shall be given to deserving scholarship candidates in the following order of priority: (1) graduates of Zachary High School, (2) graduates of other high schools in East Baton Rouge Parish, and (3) other qualified students from Louisiana.

Gerry Lane Scholars Fund Scholarship

Established in 2014 by Eric and Lisa Lane, this scholarship was created to honor the legacy of Eric's father, Gerry Lane. Gerry Lane was a savy businessman who grew Gerry Lane car dealerships and the Lane Agency to a billion dollar business.  It is given to five students annually.  Recipients must be full-time sophomore, junior, or senior students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, majoring in management, marketing, entrepreneurship, or general business, who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Recipients must complete 20 hours of community service per semester upon receipt of this award.

Hans Metcalf Memorial Award

Established in 2011 in memory of Hans Metclaf, this award provides support for full-time undergraduates within the E. J. Ourso College of Business who are majoring in Economics.

Hontzas Family Scholarship in Economics

This scholarship was established by Thomas and Ellen Hontzas in 2014. This scholarship will benefit full-time undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior level students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, majoring in Economics, with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Hontzas Family Scholarship in FIN

This scholarship was established by Thomas and Ellen Hontzas in 2014. This scholarship will benefit full-time undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior level students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, majoring in Finance, with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

J.C. Wilfert Scholarship in Business

This scholarship was established by Marian Wilfert Beauchamp in 2007 to honor her father, J.C. Wilfert.  Marian and her husband, Gary live in Houston, Texas. This scholarship provides support to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, who intends to strive for major accomplishments after graduation.

This scholarship was established by Dr. Barbara A. Wech in 2014. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time undergraduate students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, Rucks Department of Management. Recipients must be graduates of a public high school.

This scholarship was established in honor of John L. Davidson in 1994. The recipient of this scholarship shall be a full-time student who is a junior or senior in the E. J. Ourso College of Business with an overall GPA of at least 3.0.

This scholarship was established by Kevin and Debbie Knobloch.  Kevin attained a B.S.('78) and M.S.('81) in Accounting from the LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business. He is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time junior or senior students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, enrolled in the CFP Program. Financial need may be a consideration. It is the donors' preference that this scholarship be awarded to a female or minority student.

Kitty B. Strain Endowed Scholarship

The LSU Board of Supervisors established this scholarship in honor of Kitty B. Strain's 33 years of service to Louisiana State University, the last nine years as Administrative Secretary to the Board of Supervisors. The general purpose of this scholarship is to assist and promote the educational activities of an outstanding undergraduate female student in the E. J. Ourso College of Business.

This scholarship was established in 2016 by Lyttleton T. Harris IV. Lyt attained his MS in Marketing from LSU in 1963. He currently resides in Houston, Texas. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, classified as junior or seniors, majoring in marketing and maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Financial need may be a consideration.

Michael and Sarah Lloyd Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2016 by Michael and Sarah Lloyd. Mike graduated with a BS in general business from the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business  in 1980. Sarah received her BS in Office Administration from the E. J. Ourso College in 1979. Mike and Sarah currently reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time undergraduate students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business.

Michael J. Gricus, Sr. Excellence in Finance Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2013 by Corey Alemand. Corey attained his B.S. in Accounting from the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Corey currently resides in Houston, Texas. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time undergraduate students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business Department of Finance holding a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 for all college-level work.

This scholarship was established in 2014 by Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Hoffman. Greg has his B.S. in Real Estate and B.S. in Petroleum Land Management from LSU. Carolyn has a B.S. in Dietetics from LSU. Greg is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council.  They currently live in Houston, Texas. Recipients of this scholarship must be full-time undergraduate students at LSU enrolled in or intending to enroll in the College of Business. It is the Donors' preference that recipients are graduates of a high school in the New Orleans or Houston areas, demonstrate financial need, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Redhawk Capital Corporation Scholarship in Business

Established in 2009 by Darcy Klug, this scholarship is intended for full-time undergraduate students or incoming freshman students enrolled in or admitted to the E. J. Ourso College of Business with a preference given to an accounting student who is also an LSU student athlete. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and must be active in University and/or civic affairs. Recipients must also be able to demonstrate financial need.

Established in 2015 by Robert Watson, recipients of this scholarship must be full-time sophomore or junior students at LSU enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business who demonstrates financial need and is interested in a career in real estate.

Russell Lobdell Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded annually beginning in the 1977 academic year to a full-time student who is classified as a sophomore attending the Baton Rouge Campus of L .S. U. The recipient must show financial need, and must have an excellent academic record during the freshman year. In addition, first consideration will be given to a student who has demonstrated qualities of leadership and citizenship, including, but not limited to, participation in R.O.T.C. or student government.

This scholarship was established in 2011 in memory of Victoria Archangel. Recipients of this scholarship must be enrolled full-time in the E. J. Ourso College of Business. The criteria for the award are: 3.0 overall GPA, financial need as determined by the Office of Admissions and Student Aid, involvement on campus and/or community service, and involvement in student and/or community organizations.
