Economics Student Organizations
The Department of Economics offers two major-specific student organizations to both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, the department also encourages students to get involved with organizations associated with different majors and the college as a whole.
The Undergraduate Economics/International Trade and Finance Club serves the needs of students by providing job market information for inquiring employers. The club holds meetings for professional education, occasionally sponsors a "field trip" to visit various businesses on-site, and hosts a social gathering each semester. All interested students are invited to join.
Omicron Delta Epsilon is one of the world's largest academic honor societies. The objectives of Omicron Delta Epsilon are recognition of scholastic attainment and the honoring of outstanding achievements in economics and the establishment of closer ties between students and faculty in economics within colleges and universities.
The E. J. Ourso College of Business offers numerous student organizations available to students. These organizations are a great way to connect with students across majors and get involved with the business college itself.
