Full-Time Recruiting

150 students will be interviewing in September and October for full-time positions in internal audit.  This includes 100 undergraduate and 50 graduate students. The composition of the class includes students from 20 academic areas including information systems, MBA, finance and accounting. Many of the students are multilingual. Please contact Courtney Edwards in the LSU Olinde Career Center on how to recruit.

Guidelines

Please follow the guidelines below:

  • Specify on the sign-up sheet that you will be recruiting for LSU CIA "Internal Auditing Majors". This is necessary to ensure that you will interview LSU CIA students.
  • To receive a list of students in the LSU CIA program, please e-mail your request to LSUCIA@lsu.edu.  We suggest you do this prior to pre-selecting students to interview.
  • Please contact the LSU CIA office if you will be visiting LSU so we can inform the students in the LSU CIA Program.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our office.  We want to assist in maximizing your recruiting.

LSU Olinde Career Center

LSU Olinde Career Center is located in room 158 LSU Student Union. Career Services’ hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Parking

If you are conducting interviews through the regular On-Campus Interviewing program, you will receive parking information in your confirmation packet.

If you are participating in an evening presentation on campus, you should obtain a visitor's parking permit from the LSU Visitor Information Center. If you park on campus before 7:30 p.m. without a parking permit, you will be ticketed. You are encouraged to allow plenty of time for parking; available parking in the evenings is scarce because of the popularity of LSU evening classes.

Suggested Route and Parking at the LSU Union:

Take the Dalrymple Drive/LSU exit (156B) from I-10. Both eastbound and westbound traffic will take a right onto Dalrymple Drive from the off-ramp. Continue straight on Dalrymple Drive onto campus. At the Highland Road-Dalrymple Drive intersection, you can obtain a visitor's parking permit from the LSU Visitor Information Center (corner of Highland Road and Dalrymple Drive). They can direct you where to park. If you park on campus before 7:30 p.m. without a parking permit, you will be ticketed. You are encouraged to allow plenty of time for parking; available parking in the evenings is scarce because of the popularity of LSU evening classes.

Suggested Route and Parking at the Faculty Club:

Take the Dalrymple Drive/LSU exit (156B) from I-10. Both eastbound and westbound traffic will take a right onto Dalrymple Drive from the off-ramp. Continue straight on Dalrymple Drive onto campus. You should obtain a visitor’s parking permit from the LSU Visitor Information Center (corner of Highland Road and Dalrymple Drive) before arriving at the Faculty Club.

Suggested Route and Parking at the Lod Cook Conference Center and Hotel:

After the State Street light, West Lakeshore Drive is approx. ¼ mile up on the left side. It is immediately across the street from the Sigma Chi fraternity house, and immediately behind the International Cultural Center. Turn left onto West Lakeshore Drive, and the Lod Cook Conference Center and Hotel is approximately ¼ to ½ mile down on the right side, immediately behind the Lod Cook Alumni Center. Evening Presentations

Many employers choose to have an evening presentation the night before their scheduled interview date. Most presentations are held in the LSU Union, the LSU Faculty Club, or the Cook Hotel and Conference Center. All facilities charge a room rental fee. In addition to the room, audiovisual equipment and catering can be arranged. The LSU Olinde Career Center can only assist in reserving events at the LSU Union. Should you want your presentation at the LSU Faculty Club, you can call 225-578-2356. Should you want your presentation at Lod Cook, you can call them directly at 866-610-2665. If you choose to hold your event at either of these two locations, please notify the recruiting coordinator as soon as you have confirmed the date and time so she can advertise it to students interested in your organization. If you would like to hold your event at the LSU Union, Courtney Edwards will be glad to make these arrangements at least five weeks prior to your interview date.

If you are interested in interviewing LSU candidates outside of the Internal Audit Program, please contact LSU Olinde Career Center by completing this Career Center contact form.
